In 1997, Brandt Construction, Inc. was contracted to perform interior renovation work as well as mechanical and electrical upgrades to Crown Hill's Historic Waiting Station.  Over the next five years, we performed three separate phases culminating in the total restoration of the waiting station.  These phases included masonry repair, roof repair, window restoration, and interior finishes.

Features:

  • All of exterior windows were fully restored, including original wood slat window blinds, by Brandt Construction, Inc. craftsmen.
  • New handicap ramps were added with new limestone facing to complement the existing construction.
  • The intricate tile pattern in the loggia was fully restored with replacement tiles manufactured in England.
  • Restoration included minor renovation to adapt space for present office use.
