In the fall of 2005, Brandt Construction, Inc. was contracted by Garfield Park United Church of Christ to serve as Construction Manager and General Contractor on their proposed new construction and renovation project. The project included an addition of 3800 SF and renovation of 2400 SF to the original church built in 1927. Work consisted of classrooms, gathering spaces, and bathrooms. It also included site improvements, interior architectural casework, roof specialties, fire stop system, fire extinguishers and cabinets, exterior gypsum sheathing, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, carpet, and tile. Work was completed on this project in May of 2006.
