Brandt Construction, Inc. was contracted by Republic Services of Indiana to renovate Hoosier Disposal, a trash transfer station in Bloomington, IN. The project began in late 2004 and finished on time despite severe winter conditions. The project entailed construction a new 14,600 pre-engineered metal building that is held up by concrete walls and metal buttresses as well as extensive concrete sitework. Construction sequencing was a challenge because the facility had to remain open and operational.
