Brandt
Construction, Inc. was selected in the summer of 2004 as the General
Contractor overseeing the renovation of a historic home built
for the Butler family around 1860. The house is located in the
Old Northside Neighborhood near downtown Indianapolis. The renovation
included a complete gut and restoration of the home's interior.
Careful steps were taken to preserve some of the original details.
The 3,100 square foot, three bedroom home also features a library
and foyer with extensive woodwork and detailed staircase.
Features:
- Brandt Construction, Inc. craftsman created all the replacement
and new trim work and doors.
- Restored original 1860's woodwork and trim.
- Finishes matched décor from that era.
- Much of the original plaster walls remained intact.
