In December of 2000, Brandt Construction, Inc. began the transformation of the former Madison Senior High School into Rivertrace Apartments.  This project converted the vacant building into 33 units of fully handicap-adaptable, affordable, senior independent living apartments.  The building consisted of 27 one bedroom and 6 two bedroom apartments overlooking the town of Madison on the Ohio River.  Each apartment is equipped with appliances, central air, carpets, blinds, intercom, and security systems.  The project was completed on time and within budget in July of 2001.

Features:

  • 33 Fully handicap-adaptable apartments.
  • All original windows were restored and reinstalled.
  • All original terrazzo floor was restored.
