In February of 1999, Brandt Construction, Inc. was awarded the Sigma Chi Fraternity project at DePauw University in Greencastle, IN.  This project consisted of removing an existing 2,500SF single story addition and replacing it with a new 2,000SF, three story addition which would house the living room, library and new bathrooms.  The project also included an interior renovation that included relocating the bathrooms in the existing building, removing 80% of the 3rd floor to open up the space, refinishing and rewiring the study areas, and reconfiguring the dining room.  Extensive site work was also performed.

Features:

• Installed new acoustical ceiling in kitchen and dining rooms.

• Work was completed before fall semester began.

• Introduced skylights into the common area.

• Extensive trim and casework in the library.
