The project included a partial renovation of the existing school, a 1,700 square foot new addition, a 19,000 square foot new sanctuary and a 12,750 square foot new multi-purpose building. Brandt Construction was awarded the project in Fall of 1996. Phased construction started in February 1997 and was completed in January 1998. Coordination of security and staging areas were critical to assure the safe delivery and pickup of students.

Features:

  • Sanctuary structure is comprised of laminated arches and wood deck with exterior masonry walls.
  • Interior sanctuary finishes include wood deck ceiling, colored split face block walls and carpeted floors. Exterior finishes are brick with shingle roof.
  • Pre-engineered multi-purpose building includes colored split face masonry to 12’ height.
  • Metal panels to the eave and metal roof maintain a cost effective gymnasium.
  • Nave seats 800 with 7,000 square feet of a support area.
  • Project was phased and competed while school was in session.
