This project consisted of three separate elements. The first was the addition of a pre-engineered gymnasium/fellowship center. The second was the addition of four classrooms and new administrative offices. The third portion was renovation and expansion of the narthex for the existing sanctuary. Both the classrooms and the narthex addition were conventional construction, consisting of exposed block bearing walls and wood frame roof structures.

Features:

  • Brandt Construction, Inc. was selected to provide design and build services, one of the first projects of this type for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.
  • The entire project was built in 16 weeks, which required a great deal of up front planning and scheduling.
  • The owner provided all gymnasium floor surfaces and kitchen equipment.
  • The entire project was completed at a cost of under $50.00 per square foot.
