In September of 2005, Brandt Construction, Inc. was selected to serve as the Construction Manager and General Contractor on the proposed new Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity House. In June of 2007, the old Sigma Chi Fraternity House was demolished to make way for the new 16,000 square foot Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity House. The project consisted of extensive site work, and a three story building designed to house forty students. The building will provide bunk rooms, kitchen, dining facilities, study rooms, meeting area, formal living room, and chapter room. This colonial style brick structure includes a basement recreational room, restroom facilities, and mechanical room. The new design for the house adds classical elements of columns and a detailed cornice to provide a new "Wabash" image as well as the first point of contact when entering the campus.
