In
1996 Brandt Construction, Inc. returned to Bethesda Temple Apostolic
Church to complete Phase II of their master plan. Phase II consisted
of fourteen classrooms, four offices, public restrooms, private
restrooms with choir dressing rooms, storage rooms, a new narthex
with skylights and a water fountain. All provisions possible were
built in phase one to allow easy connection for phases two and
three. Great care was taken to insure the security and safety
of the children in the day care center, which was in full operation
throughout the project. With the church building committee involved
daily throughout the project, and Brandt Construction, Inc.’s
constant monitoring of cost control, the project was an economical
success, obtaining the desired square foot construction cost.
Future phases include additional educational space, a chapel and
a new sanctuary.
Features:
Minimum
disruption to the owner throughout the construction.
- Coordination of new utility services for future phases.
- Built during the winter months and maintained the owner’s
budget.
