This
project entailed constructing a new 30,000 square foot clubhouse,
renovating the existing pro-shop and associated site development
work for the Country Club of Indianapolis. This building is comprised
of men’s and women’s locker rooms, men’s and
women’s card rooms, office area for staff, elevator, informal
dining room, formal dining room, a parlor lounge, kitchen, an
enclosed glass porch, and a 19th hole bar overlooking the golf
course. After relocating the club into the new facility, the existing
building was demolished and replaced with a loading dock and an
entrance drive.
Features:
Entire
facility was completed in 40 weeks.
- Extensive interior finishes include 16 foot high ceilings
with bulkheads, cherry veneer lockers, oriental rugs, 8 foot
wood rail and stile doors, stained walnut chair rail and crown
molding, wallcoverings, interior transoms, ceramic tile and
interior wood muntin grills on all windows.
- The new clubhouse was constructed within 6 feet of the existing
clubhouse while still in operation.
- Brandt Construction, Inc. began construction of this project
two months before final plans were completed to keep the opening
of the facility on schedule.
