Prior
to Brandt Construction, Inc. starting work, this site was a 160
acre corn field. Temporary electricity was first provided by generators,
and subsequently by thousands of feet of power line draped across
the West Clay site. The Brenwick Office building is a replica
of a turn of the century street front. Limited accessibility to
the site and work area made this project particularly difficult.
All the perimeter curbs and asphalt roads were being constructed
simultaneously and were being used by the other contractors developing
the site. Due to a previously scheduled home show on June 30,
2000, Brandt Construction, Inc. had to complete this project in
nine months instead of ten and a half months. Brandt Construction,
Inc. completed this project at 12:00 p.m. on June 30, 2000.
Features:
The
site was originally a 160 acre corn field.
- The building is a three story historic replica of a turn
of the century street front.
- There was limited site accessibility due to the perimeter
curbs and asphalt roads being simultaneously developed.
- The project had to be shortened by 1-1/2 months to accommodate
the previously scheduled home show.
